Simple Rock Cycle Diorama

Make your own simple rock cycle diorama using these rock diorama printables. Making this 3D rock model is a great way to learn about the rock cycle for kids. 

Print the rock cycle diorama onto thick white paper or thin cardstock. There is both a black and white version for you to color yourself and a color version for you to choose from. 

Start by cutting, folding, and gluing the large rock pieces together. Use the image as a guide. You are creating 2 halves of the rock so it looks as if it is split in 2. Make and add the volcano shapes to the top of each half of the rock.  Then add the labels igneous rock, sedimentary rock, metamorphic rock, magma, and volcanic eruption. Cut and glue on the extra small rocks.
